•Manages art department day to day functions.
•Works with in-house sales staff to produce outdoor advertising from concept to production
•Prepares and/or assists in preparation of sales and marketing brochures, promotional incentives, corporate and division identification materials, presentations and other supporting documents
•Maintains creative computer equipment according to corporate standards
•Follows policies and procedures set up by the local market management and corporate directives.
•Participants in company training, safety meetings and other meetings and events as directed

| Job Requirements: |
•Oversee art and sales communication, attends a weekly meeting to update the sales staff on art production.
•Establishes a prioritizing method of art production (both speculatory and production)
•Train all new account executives on effective outdoor design and current production techniques.
•Administer the use of an art request form and train sales staff on what material and information is required to produce artwork.
•Work with account executives, per their request, on direct contact with clients
•Motivate sales staff to talk to clients about using good creative

| Education Requirements: |
•College level degree in graphic, commercial or creative arts or comparable experience.
•Advanced knowledge of Apple Macintosh operating system, Photoshop, Illustrator or Freehand, and Indesign or QuarkXpress. Knowledge of web graphics production.
•Read and comprehend complex correspondence, listen effectively
•Ability to create artistic, creative displays and write headline copy.
•Good speaking skills with clients, account executives, marketing management, etc.
•Must be organized with the ability to work under pressure
•Demonstrated leadership skills
